At present the age groups at River Life Fellowship are setup as follows:
Babies - (0 - 18 months old)
Toddlers (18 months - 3 years old)
Jr. Children's Church (4 - 5 years old)
Children's Church (6 - 10 years old)
The babies and toddlers are cared for in a loving, safe and fun environment. The Teaching, instructing and equipping starts in Jr. Children's Church. (4-5 year old's)
In this class we like to keep things fun and active. We have a snack, Bible stories, songs, puppets, crafts
and more! At present we are using the following curriculum for this class:

Hands-On Bible Curriculum By: Group Publishing
Jesus taught with hands-on lessons and illustrations. The Hands-On Bible curriculum uses the same experience-based learning to communicate God's Word in an active, understandable way. Hands-On Bible Curriculum uses unique games, snacks and crafts to help kids learn about God, because kids retain more by interacting with a lesson instead of just hearing it. hands-On Bible Curriculum is a fun, hands-on experience that gets kids excited about coming to Sunday school. |
Then we move on up to the Children's Church which is for 6-10 year old's. In this class we dig deeper into the word and involved the children with practical training to better understanding of God's grace and love, be touched by the Holy Spirit and are given the chance to experience the Lord through foundational Bible teaching, prayer, prophecy, allowing the Holy Spirit to come and be in charge, soaking in His presence, and fun!
The teaching in this class is at present based
prayerfully considered topical bible studies allowing for in-depth discussion of God's word and practical training and application of God's word into our lives. In this class we will sometimes have crafts, activities and games to help solidify the message or we might just spend time praying or soaking in His presence. We want the children to experience God's presence and learn how to practically use the gifts that God has given them. So allowing time for this is and important part of what we do as a children's ministry.

You'll help kids understand the Bible messages as you bring them to life in imaginative and dramatic ways! These are setup for teaching a class but would work great for a family to use together! |
We encourage children 11 years old an up to be in the main service for some in-depth Bible teaching from Pastor Byron, Pastor Matthew or whoever else is preaching in the main sanctuary.
River Life Fellowship offers a middle school youth group called Tidal Wave that meets on Tuesday nights. (on break through summer). This group is for 6th, 7th and 8th graders. We also have two other children's ministries that meet on Wednesday nights; Water Boys ages (7-12) and DK Girls ages (7-12). There is also youth meetings for the teens as well, which is on Tuesday nights.
